Introduction
The Nigeria Trade Information Portal ("NTIP", "Portal", "Platform") is an official digital platform established to provide information on trade-related laws, regulations, procedures, tariffs, permits, and other requirements applicable to import, export, and transit of goods in Nigeria.
These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern access to and use of the Portal by all users.
By accessing or using the Portal, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms.
Legal Status and Ownership
The Portal is owned, managed, and operated by the Government of the Federal Republic of Nigeria through the Nigeria Revenue Service ("the Authority"), acting in coordination with relevant border and regulatory agencies participating in the National Single Window.
All rights not expressly granted to users are reserved by the Authority.
Scope of Use
The Portal is provided for:
- Disseminating trade-related information
- Enhancing the transparency and predictability of Nigeria's trade environment
- Supporting traders, investors, regulators, and the general public
Eligibility
The Portal may be accessed by:
- Individuals
- Businesses
- Government agencies
- International users
- Users must have the legal capacity to use digital services under applicable laws.
User Obligations
Users agree to:
- Use the Portal only for lawful purposes
- Provide accurate and complete information where required
- Refrain from actions that may compromise the security, integrity, or availability of the Portal
- Respect applicable intellectual property and data protection laws
Prohibited Use
Users shall not:
- Use the Portal for fraudulent, misleading, or unlawful activities
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to systems, databases, or networks
- Interfere with the operation or security of the Portal
- Scrape, harvest, or bulk-download data for commercial exploitation without authorisation

is the property of the Authority or its licensors and is protected under applicable intellectual property laws.

Accuracy and Disclaimer of Information
While reasonable efforts are made to ensure accuracy and timeliness:
- Information on the Portal is provided "as is"
- Trade laws and procedures may change without notice
- Users are advised to consult the relevant competent authorities for official confirmation
- The Authority shall not be liable for decisions made based on information obtained from the Portal.
